Hello!
In this video I’ll show you how I created a roll/dash mechanic with slope compensation, so that your speed will remain consistent even when going upwards. The key is modifying the pitch angle of the vector which dictates the roll direction. To do so, you have to find a vector which is perpendicular to both the roll direction and the normal (to the ground) vectors.
