  1. 2 years after highschool, I've seen this video like 20 times, and rise over run just clicked for me, just now, right there.

  2. It's the worst f***ing game ever made! I love it!

  3. "Alucard, from Symphony of the Night" "Might be the same one…" Ugh. I hate both of you.

  4. What a surprise, a male teacher who can make education enjoyable and then come female teacher who makes your educational life a fucking nightmare.

Seriously, what is it about women who work as teachers that they have to make the time you spend at their classes a living, boring, nightmare. They could at least crack a joke or something to make things more interesting but no, they just make everything sound so flat and boring as if it's intentional. It's as if they'd think that when they behave like a bitch it'd make you remember things better or something.

I've never had a good female teacher when I was at school and this wasn't just some sort of attitude problem like "Oh, it's a girl" kind of thing. They just happened to behave like a bitch as if they were menstruating every damn day.

  5. (In a sarcastic tone) Um, that was prealgebra. Sheesh.

  6. Math is one of the few things that makes me feel miserable and helpless.

  7. Have you ever played Rondo of Blood on this channel? If not, I'd LOVE to see that!

  8. 9:07 And here we see the inception of the greatest Grumps series to date.

  9. It's strange to see the orange sidebars disappear at the very end there.

  10. I thought Jon said "I'm really fuckin stoned", and I got excited because I've never heard or seen Jon be high, but then I found out he said "Im really fuckin stoked." Damn

  11. I saw that math and I was like: People learn that stuff? Then I took a closer look and thought to myself: Damn I learnt that stuff…

  12. Uh, Excuse me Jon. I know that you're already gone and that no one important is going to see this; but they've been using slope for the past 5000 years. All the way back to the Egyptians, who invented Mathematics.

  13. ive never had to find the slope of anything ever in my life since school. FUCK YOU, Math!

  14. I fuckin love Barry! He never backs down from anything!

  15. Grant the thief is the best. That is all.

  16. It really pains me to see that Arin doesnt know basic math. Jon at least knows but doesnt remember. And they think slope is from geometry when its from basic algebra.

  17. A lot of people fail math because of the teachers. You trap a bunch of students who don't give a shit in a room with a teacher who doesn't give a shit and BOOM! You got half the class failing.

I hated math, I failed or got C's in all my classes in high school. Then I went to college, and the dude teaching was very passionate about teaching and helping students… and to my surprise it just clicked. A's the whole semester, the subject I never thought I'd grasp was being roundhouse kicked by my brain.

I don't remember any of it, cause most of it was useless. But still. The passion has to start with the teachers, and not too many teachers are passionate about math.

  18. 7:10 It's a good thing that slope was either 1 or 2 otherwise that equation Barry wrote would have been wrong.

  19. This episode is a great example of how much more editing Barry does than Kevin.
Kevin does almost nothing and when he does edit something in he does the bare minimum.

  20. The Tragic Car had me in tears of laughter.

  21. 8:10 i was working on a math problem w that equation in it when he said that

  22. I know this comment is kind of late to the party, but I'm going to school majoring in Social Studies/Education. The people who right curricula are called teachers, mostly, but it usually tends to be a combination of teaching departments along with administrators and sometimes the school board. As far as what math level a person would learn about lines and properties of them goes, it would start in pre-algebra and continue through Algebra I. In Algebra II and trigonometry, more advanced classes would be introduced.

  23. Wait i thought he didn't finish highschool?

  24. I miss Barry edits… Some of them were so subtle and simple, but they were always endearing. Now they have to audibly tell Kevin to edit something in, and it's usually half-assed.

  25. in 7th&8th grade I had the same problem, Mr. Clork was a motivational machine when I was in 7th grade, but then Mrs. Basscarino came next year with her catch phrase "you'll never survive in high school". we'll see about that Mrs.Bass…we'll see about THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!BITCH

  26. The stairs parts were meant to be difficult because it's one of those games that tests your patience and determination., which apparently Jon doesn't have. And his jokes still aren't funny. Also, some edits take away from the gameplay. Sometimes less is better.

  27. This is a very underrated Barry episode. One of his best, really.

  28. "Why do I have the down thing?"
"Uh, Down's Syndrome? Did you get that over the weekend? I told you to wear a condom!"

The Grumps could never get away with that joke nowadays, but it makes me laugh every time.

  29. With my bawdy being parallel to the horizontal axis and my cawk being perpendickular to my bawdy, then the slope of my cawk is infinity. Makes sense!

  30. you know what would make (almost) everyone happy?
    Gamegrumps starring:
    Arin, Jon AND DANNY

  31. These days, you learn slope in Algebra, and at least a t my school, you could learn it in 7th grade if it was accelerated

  32. to be real, what developer fucking thought "oh yea make it super easy to fall of the stairs by simply walking off, and make most of the difficult enemies appear when there are stairs"

  33. i love all the grumps, but:
"alucard from symphony of the night?"
"idk, might be the same one"
gee, two characters named alucard, both in the same series, and both are the son of dracula. i wonder if they're the same character.
